We at GBIM believe that:


  1. The Holy Bible is the infallible and authoritative word of GOD given to free humans from all forms of bondage.
  2. The Holy Trinity is made up of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These are co-existent and represent the ever living and wholesome power of God.
  3. Our heavenly Father, God Almighty is the maker of Heaven and Earth.
  4. We believe in one ever living, glorious, faithful, merciful and loving GOD.
  5. We believe in the supernatural birth of Jesus Christ who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and given birth to by the immaculate virgin Mary. He acquired the position of the heir of all God’s creation through his death on the Cross as a sin offering for all creation. He was crucified, buried and descended into hell and rose again on the dead day after which he ascended in to Heaven. Where he is seated on the right side of God the Father, waiting for the final day to come back to earth to judge the living and the dead. We accept Jesus Christ as the head of the Church and the architect of our Faith.
  6. God the Holy Spirit convicts and justifies the sinner. He reconciles the willing with God the Father through belief and Faith in Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Saviour. The Holy Spirit enables the Rebirth of us sinners, lives in us afterwards, enables our growth in Christ and comforts us at all times as well as teaching us to pray when we are short of expression or direction. The Holy Spirit is the gift of God to the Church.
  7. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is available for all who believe in Jesus Christ and gives his personal will in exchange for God’s will.
  8. We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit which are:
    1. The Spirit of Belief and Trust
    2. The merciful Spirit of Healing
    3. The Spirit of Signs and Wonders
    4. The Spirit of Prophecy
    5. The Spirit of speaking Tongues and the interpretation of Tongues
    6. The Spirit of Discernment
  9. Man was created in the image and likeness of God. Through the original sin of Adam and Eve, mankind has fallen from the presence of God and become sinful in nature. He is totally incapable of returning to God by himself and is lost without hope, apart from the salvation of Jesus Christ.
  10. The church is the body and bride of Christ whose task is to take the Gospel of salvation to all men in all nations and to make disciples of all them.
  11. The consummation of all things includes the visible, personal return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead and the transformation of those alive in the Lord.
  12. In the Blood of Jesus Christ and that the redemptive work of Christ on the CROSS provides healing for the body in response to believing prayer.
